Hurricane Katrina makes landfall near New Orleans, Louisiana, as a Category 4 hurricane on this day in 2005. How can natural disaster prone locations use technology to detect and protect against hurricanes, etc.?

  1. So, it the expensive natural disaster as for now. Lets hope upcoming disasters will not do the same.
